Compose Options

This page gives you control over varies settings related to composing messages and the appearance of the Compose page.

Spell Check

Spell Check Before Send

If you want to check for spelling errors automatically before sending messages, set this option to "Yes" (in the WorldClient theme, click the checkbox). Messages will be spell checked after you click Send Now on the Compose page. If an error is found then the message will be opened in a spell check page for correction. If there is no error then the message will be sent immediately.

Spell Check Ignore All Caps (Ignore acronyms)

Choose "Yes" or click the checkbox if you want the spell checker to ignore words containing all capital letters.

For example:

"WORLDCLIENT" would be skipped but "WorldClient" would be checked.

Spell Check Ignore Mixed Digits (Ignore words with numbers)

Choose "Yes" or click the checkbox if you want the spell checker to ignore words that contain a combination of both letters and numbers.

Dictionary

When spell checking messages these words will not be treated as misspelled. To add words to the dictionary, type them into the box. You can separate words by commas or semicolons, or you can type one word per line. When you are finished added words, click Save on the toolbar at the top of the page.

For more information on spell checking, see: Spell Checking Email Messages.

Compose Options

Default From address

Use the drop-down list to choose the default email address or alias that you wish to use as the From address of your messages.

Default Reply-To address

If you wish to set a default Reply-To email address for your messages, type the address here. Whenever a recipient of one of your messages clicks Reply, this is the address to which the reply message will go. When this option is used, the Advanced Compose controls will be displayed by default in Lite, Mobile, and LookOut, and the Reply-To header will be shown in the WorldClient theme.

Save Sent Messages

Click this checkbox if you would like WorldClient to automatically place a copy of your outgoing message into your Sent folder.

Advanced Compose

This controls whether or not your Compose page will display the Advanced controls by default. Some of these controls will operate differently in the LookOut theme than in other themes.  The LookOut theme already displays the Carbon Copy ("CC") field by default.

Warn on Blank Subject

Choose "No" for this option if you do not wish to be warned if you try to send a message that has a blank Subject line. By default this option is set to "Yes".

Enable RPost

WorldClient supports sending secure/private encrypted messages via RPost. Click this option if you have an RPost account and wish to use this service. When enabled, a new Send via RPost button will appear on the Compose page. This option may not be available for all users.

Enable Virtru

Check this box to enable end-to-end email and attachment encryption through Virtru. This causes a button to appear on the Compose page that you can click to encrypt your email before sending. This is an easy-to-use feature that doesn't require you to remember or save any special passwords or keys. Recipients who use a Virtru-enabled client, such as the WorldClient theme or one of Virtru's other client plugins, can open and read the encrypted messages normally, without any additional steps. Recipients without a Virtru-enabled client will see a link to view the message in a special browser-based reader.

For more information, see: Email Encryption.

You cannot enable or use Virtru unless you are using a secure browser connection. If you see a message next to the Enable Virtru option that says, "Virtru requires HTTPS," then try connecting to WorldClient in your browser using "https://" in the URL rather than "http://".
