By using Filters you can set rules to be applied to incoming messages. Filters can automatically move messages to other folders, redirect or forward them to another address, or delete them. When an incoming message arrives it is compared to any filters that you have created, stepping through the filters in order, beginning at the top. If a message meets a filter's criteria, the action specified in the filter is taken. After that, the message will not be compared to any subsequent filters.

|
Text in filters cannot contain double quotation marks ("). Further, if you choose "is greater than" or "is less than" as your comparison type then the text specified must be a number.
